Trade and Export Highlights

Commerce ministry data showed that India’s exports to core BRICS nations surged 34% to $19.9 billion in April-August 2026-27 compared to $14.9 billion in the corresponding period last year. Commerce and Industry Minister Piyush Goyal announced that the India-New Zealand Free Trade Agreement will come into force on October 20, 2026, with New Zealand committing to invest $20 billion over 15 years.
