FII / DII Flows

In the FII and DII activity on 12 August 2026, Domestic Institutional Investors (DIIs) were net buyers, recording a substantial inflow of ₹5,841.66 crore. This strong DII buying offset the net selling by Foreign Institutional Investors (FIIs), who withdrew ₹1,002.5 crore from the market. This marks the first consecutive selling session for FIIs after a positive inflow on 11 August.

Over the last five sessions, FII activity has been mixed, with net selling observed on 12 August (₹1,002.5 crore) and 06 August (₹17.86 crore). Conversely, DIIs have consistently been net buyers, with significant inflows of ₹5,841.66 crore on 12 August and ₹4,013.6 crore on 06 August, indicating sustained domestic support.
