Market participants tracking institutional flows recorded gross buying of Rs 9215.71 crore against gross selling of Rs 12379.75 crore in equities.

  • Equities net selling reached Rs 3164.04 crore based on NSDL data.
  • Debt segment recorded net buying of Rs 421.08 crore with gross purchases of Rs 2970.53 crore and sales of Rs 2549.45 crore.
  • Hybrid segment registered net buying of Rs 21.61 crore after gross buying of Rs 38.39 crore against gross selling of Rs 16.78 crore.

Debt Sub-Segment Movements

Capital flows within the broader debt category exhibited mixed positioning across specific operational limits.

  • Debt-General Limit segment recorded net buying of Rs 1150.36 crore by institutional investors.
  • Debt-VRR segment saw net selling of Rs 78.06 crore during the period.
  • Debt-FAR segment experienced net selling of Rs 651.22 crore according to the official figures.
