Skoda India launches the updated Slavia sedan with refreshed styling, advanced interior tech, and an 8-speed automatic option. Bookings open August 18.
Get ready for a refresh on your commute! Skoda Auto India has just unveiled its updated Slavia sedan, bringing a host of new features and styling tweaks for Indian drivers.
Bookings for the refreshed Slavia began on August 18, 2026. While official pricing is expected in the first week of October, deliveries are set to commence around the festive season.
What’s New on the Outside?
The Slavia facelift sports revised headlights, taillights, a new front grille, and an updated air dam. New alloy wheels complete the refreshed look.
- New LED daytime running light signatures have been added.
- The rear now features sequential turn indicators, inspired by the Kushaq.
- New ‘SKODA’ lettering is prominently displayed between the taillights.
- Two new exterior colors are available: Arctic Silver and Cappuccino Beige.
- Customers opting for Cappuccino Beige will experience a delivery delay until December 2026.
Inside the Cabin: Tech Upgrades
The interior sees significant enhancements, notably a segment-first rear-seat massaging function for improved passenger comfort. The infotainment system also gets a boost in size.
- The touchscreen infotainment system is now 10.1-inches, up from the previous 10-inch unit.
- The driver’s display has also grown from 8 inches to 10.25 inches.
- Higher variants will feature a 360-degree camera and built-in connectivity with a Google Cloud-powered AI assistant.
- Electrically adjustable and ventilated front seats are also included in higher trims.
- A new variable geometry compressor has been integrated into the air-conditioning system.
- The Slavia maintains its single-pane sunroof.
Under the Hood: Transmission Updates
Powertrain options remain the existing 1.0-liter and 1.5-liter turbo-petrol engines, but the smaller engine gets a notable transmission upgrade.
- The 1.0-liter TSI engine, which produces 115PS and 178 Nm, now pairs with a new eight-speed torque converter automatic transmission. This replaces the previous six-speed unit.
- The larger 1.5-liter TSI engine continues to be mated to a seven-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission.
Safety Features
Safety has also seen an enhancement with the inclusion of a 360-degree camera. The sedan retains its existing electronic stability control and other critical electronic safety systems.
However, Advanced Driver-Assistance Systems (ADAS) have not been incorporated into this latest update for the Slavia.
