Pritika Engineering Components, a subsidiary of Pritika Auto Industries representing the broader Pritika Group of Industries, has formalized a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Spark Grid. This agreement secures a 25-year supply of solar power at a competitive rate, marking a significant strategic move for the industrial conglomerate.
Projected Financial Gains
This long-term solar power arrangement is set to deliver substantial cost efficiencies for the Pritika Group. The initiative is estimated to generate savings of approximately Rs 110 crore over its 25-year tenure.
- Pritika Engineering Components and Meeta Castings are specifically projected to benefit from savings of around Rs 70 crore.
- The remaining balance of the total savings will accrue to other entities within the Pritika Group for the same period.
Strategic Operational Shift
As part of the proposed structure, a Special Purpose Vehicle (SPV) will be established to manage the solar power project. Pritika Engineering Components anticipates holding a 26% equity stake in this SPV on behalf of the Group, pending necessary approvals and documentation.
