Maruti Suzuki India has significantly bolstered its manufacturing capabilities by commencing commercial production at its fourth plant in Hansalpur, Gujarat. This expansion marks a pivotal moment for the automotive giant’s production footprint.

The new Plant D at the Hansalpur facility adds an annual capacity of 250,000 units, elevating the facility’s total yearly output from 750,000 units to a substantial 1 million units. This achievement makes Hansalpur the first Suzuki manufacturing facility globally to reach this million-unit milestone at a single location.

This strategic move establishes Maruti Suzuki’s Hansalpur site as India’s largest passenger vehicle manufacturing facility within a single location. The addition of Plant D brings Maruti Suzuki’s overall manufacturing capacity to an impressive 2.9 million units per annum.

Coforge Unveils Momentuum AI for Enterprise Transformation

In the technology sector, Coforge has introduced Momentuum AI, a dedicated operating unit designed to accelerate enterprise AI transformation. This new unit aims to deliver measurable business outcomes for its clients.

  • Momentuum AI is built around Coforge’s Forward Deployed Engineer (FDE) model.

ICICI Prudential Acquires Stake in Go Digit General Insurance

Separately, ICICI Prudential Mutual Fund has acquired a notable 0.61% stake in Go Digit General Insurance through an open market transaction. This investment signals activity in the digital insurance space.
