FII and DII Flows

Foreign Institutional Investors (FII) continued their exit from Indian equities, marking five consecutive sessions of net selling. In the latest session, FIIs offloaded shares worth ₹2961.3 crore. Conversely, Domestic Institutional Investors (DII) provided a cushion to the market, injecting a net ₹5088.92 crore, helping to mitigate the impact of the foreign outflow.

Top Movers and Sector Performance

Market sentiment remained mixed across sectors. Dr. Reddy’s Laboratories Ltd. led the gainers with a +2.71% rise, followed by Bajaj Auto Ltd. at +2.62% and Tata Motors Passenger Vehicles Ltd. at +1.63%. On the downside, Apollo Hospitals Enterprise Ltd. fell -3.15%, while ITC Ltd. and Tech Mahindra Ltd. declined -3.05% and -2.85% respectively.

Investors will be watching whether domestic buying can offset the persistent FII selling pressure as the market prepares for the 9:15 AM opening bell.
