The Indian equity market concluded Monday’s session on a positive note, with the Nifty 50 advancing +160 pts, or +0.66%, to close at 24430.35. FII and DII Activity
Domestic Institutional Investors maintained a strong buying stance, injecting +3791.42 cr into the market on July 6. This consistent DII support has been a key factor in recent market resilience. After three consecutive selling sessions from June 30 to July 2, Foreign Institutional Investors showed a shift in trend, becoming net buyers on July 3 with +1355.33 cr and again on July 6 with +243.03 cr. Their net selling on July 2 (-311.82 cr) and July 1 (-1140.5 cr) was notably offset by DII activity.

Conversely, two sectors experienced declines, registering -0.88% and -0.59% respectively, indicating mixed sentiment across the broader market.
