The early minutes of trade indicate a cautious sentiment prevailing across the broader market, as investors react to overnight developments and previous day’s flows.

Foreign Institutional Investors (FIIs) were net sellers on June 18, offloading equities worth ₹1025.2 crore. This marks a shift from the previous session, June 17, when FIIs recorded a net inflow of ₹101.59 crore. In contrast, Domestic Institutional Investors (DIIs) continued to provide significant support to the market, with net purchases of ₹3516.81 crore on June 18, following ₹1561.4 crore on June 17. The FII selling pressure from yesterday appears to be influencing today’s weak open.

Among the Nifty 50 constituents, Adani Enterprises Ltd. leads the early gainers, trading at ₹3032 with a +0.62% uptick. Other stocks showing positive movement include Shriram Finance Ltd. (+0.38%), Dr. Reddy’s Laboratories Ltd. (+0.35%), Hindalco Industries Ltd. (+0.35%), and HDFC Bank Ltd. (+0.23%).
