Sectoral Performance and Movers

Auto stocks are leading the decline, with the Auto sector down 3.46%. Metal stocks also faced significant selling pressure, falling 1.61%. Conversely, the IT sector shows resilience, posting a gain of 2.17% in early trade.

Among individual stocks, Infosys Ltd. is the top gainer, rising 4.11% to 1035. Bajaj Auto Ltd. leads the losers, dropping 7.62% to 10045. Maruti Suzuki India Ltd. also remains under pressure, trading 4.86% lower at 11386.

Institutional Activity

Foreign Institutional Investors (FIIs) have been net sellers for two consecutive sessions, with a total outflow of 19632.63 crore over the last two days. Domestic Institutional Investors (DIIs) have provided support, recording a net inflow of 10041.84 crore in the latest session.
