Oil India recorded a substantial 252.83% year-over-year surge in its standalone net profit for Q1 FY27, reaching Rs 2,870.21 crore. This marks the company’s highest-ever standalone profit, reflecting robust operational performance.

The significant profit increase was primarily driven by higher crude oil production and improved crude oil price realization during the quarter. Crude oil output rose by 11% to 0.950 MMT. The company also achieved its highest-ever daily crude oil production of 10,921 tonnes on June 27, 2026.
Consolidated Performance and Subsidiary Contribution
On a consolidated basis, Oil India reported a net profit increase of 91.40%, totaling Rs 3629.79 crore. This strong consolidated performance aligns with the significant standalone gains. Consolidated net sales also saw a substantial rise of 57.70%.
- Numaligarh Refinery (NRL) PAT: Rs 1,305 crore (up 167% year-over-year)
- NRL Gross Refining Margin: $35.95 per barrel
The material subsidiary, Numaligarh Refinery (NRL), played a crucial role in these consolidated results. NRL reported a 167% year-over-year increase in PAT, contributing significantly to the overall group’s profitability. Its gross refining margin improved to $35.95 per barrel.
