IPO Structure and Purpose

The IPO includes a fresh issue valued at ₹620 crore, alongside an offer for sale (OFS) of ₹205 crore by the promoters. Funds from the fresh issue are primarily allocated to bolster the company’s working capital requirements.

This capital will cover essential needs like inventory procurement and margin requirements associated with bullion purchases. Augmont operates comprehensively across the precious metals value chain, from procurement to digital trading.

Financial Performance and Risks

For fiscal 2026, Augmont reported a substantial revenue of ₹84,762 crore. Despite this, net profit margins remained thin at approximately 0.37% for the same period, which is typical for the bullion trading sector.

Potential investors face inherent risks tied to the company’s reliance on its digital platforms, ‘Augmont SPOT’ and ‘Augmont Gold For All’. Exposure to gold and silver price volatility also presents a notable concern.

Furthermore, Augmont’s business model heavily depends on enterprise and international sales, adding another layer of market risk. The shares are slated for listing on the BSE and NSE on August 31, 2026.
