The consumer durables manufacturer saw its revenue increase by 12.1% during the quarter, reaching Rs 2,727 crore. This marks an uptick from the Rs 2,432 crore reported in the corresponding period of the previous fiscal year.

The company’s operating performance weakened considerably, with EBITDA decreasing from Rs 211 crore in the prior year’s corresponding quarter. This resulted in the EBITDA margin contracting from 8.7% to 5.1%.

Key Leadership Transitions

Whirlpool of India also announced several key changes within its senior management team, effective in the coming months.

  • Anish Ahuja, currently Head of Service, will transition to Chief Operating Officer at Whirlpool of India Kitchen Appliances Limited (“Elica India”), effective September 1, 2026. He will report to Pralhad Bhutada, CEO & Managing Director of Elica India.
  • Ankit Gupta, the Head of Manufacturing Finance, has resigned from his position, with his departure effective August 14, 2026.
  • Sourav Chakravarty has been appointed as the new Head of Manufacturing Finance, commencing his role on August 10, 2026. Chakravarty, a Chartered Accountant with approximately 18 years of experience, previously worked with ITC Limited and will report to Aditya Jain, Executive Director and CFO of Whirlpool of India.

The contraction in EBITDA margin highlights operational profitability pressures for Whirlpool of India, despite its double-digit revenue growth. These financial results coincide with strategic leadership adjustments within the organisation.
