The Brand Canvas 2026 challenge, organized by BSmart, wrapped up its inaugural national ad-film making competition recently. The grand finale brought together the brightest talent at Kristu Jayanti University in Bengaluru.

Spotlight on Future Ad Stars

Teams battled it out to create impactful ad films for real-world financial products, showcasing their creative prowess.

The top honor went to ‘Power Rangers’ from VIT Business School, Vellore. Their winning ad film was designed for UTI Mutual Fund.

Coming in as first runner-up was ‘Buzz Builders’ from RK University, Rajkot. They presented an advertisement for the Pension Fund Regulatory and Development Authority.

The third spot was secured by ‘Fourth Element’ from XIME Kochi. This team also crafted an impressive ad film for UTI Mutual Fund.

A distinguished panel of industry professionals and academic experts rigorously assessed the creative ad films. These judges evaluated the top ten competing teams, highlighting the high standard of emerging talent.
