Vishal Rathod has been appointed Chief Technology Officer (CTO) at the Association of Mutual Funds in India (AMFI). This strategic move positions him to lead the technology function for the industry body representing India’s mutual fund sector.
Rathod’s career is deeply rooted in technology and IT leadership within the financial services industry. His extensive background encompasses IT leadership, technology strategy, and financial services technology across both banking and non-banking sectors.
Previous Experience and Strategic Role
Before joining AMFI, Rathod served as Assistant Vice President – IT at Asset Reconstruction Company (India) Limited, starting in 2023. There, he was instrumental in developing technology strategies aimed at achieving specific business outcomes.
In his new capacity as CTO at AMFI, Rathod will spearhead the technology function. This role involves supporting the association’s overall operations and its interactions within the broader mutual fund ecosystem across India.
