Touchwood Entertainment Secures DMRC Property Development Project

Touchwood Entertainment Limited has announced receiving a Letter of Acceptance (LOA) from the Delhi Metro Rail Corporation Limited (DMRC). This LOA grants Touchwood Entertainment the right to develop a property situated at Mohan Estate Metro Station, marking a significant foray into the real estate sector for the company.

The project encompasses an 8,903.77 square meter land plot, strategically located on Line-6 of the Delhi Metro Network. This substantial land parcel presents a notable development opportunity within a key urban transportation corridor.

To execute this development, Touchwood Entertainment’s Board of Directors has approved the formation of a joint venture (JV). The partner in this new consortium is Hometown Properties Private Limited, combining the expertise of both entities for the upcoming project.

Under the terms of the joint venture agreement, Touchwood Entertainment Limited will hold a 70% stake, positioning it as the majority participant. Hometown Properties Private Limited will retain the remaining 30% interest in the collaborative venture.

The joint venture company will be tasked with the comprehensive development, operation, and management of the Mohan Estate property. The initiation of these activities is contingent upon securing all necessary statutory and regulatory approvals.

The Board formally sanctioned the incorporation of the new entity on June 8, 2026. This approval also included authorization for the necessary filings required to establish the joint venture company legally.

In preparation for its formal establishment, the Board has proposed names for the new entity, including “TOUCHTOWN VENTURES PRIVATE LIMITED” and “AB TOUCHTOWN VENTURES PRIVATE LIMITED,” reflecting the partnership between the companies.
