Over 450 players from Punjab are eligible for today’s inaugural player auction for the Sher-e-Punjab T20 League. This new franchise-based cricket competition, inspired by the Indian Premier League (IPL), has officially launched in Punjab, India, announced by Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann.
Auction Kicks Off
The league, featuring six franchise teams, moves into its player selection phase today. The tournament itself is set to run from August 30 to September 13 at the PCA Stadium in Mohali.
