Sembcorp Green Infra Ltd. has submitted preliminary documents to SEBI for an Initial Public Offering, targeting a raise of up to ₹3,750 crore. The funds from this IPO are specifically allocated for debt repayment.
This offering will consist exclusively of a fresh issue of equity shares, with no Offer for Sale component included. The move is set to strengthen Sembcorp Green Infra’s financial standing, supporting its ongoing expansion in the renewable energy sector.

As of March 31, 2026, the company operated 3.60 GW of renewable energy capacity. An additional 4.04 GW/GWh was under construction, comprising 2.61 GW of renewable energy capacity and 1,433 MWh of battery energy storage systems.
These under-construction projects are primarily located in Rajasthan, Karnataka, and Gujarat. The company’s revenue increased to ₹2,652.50 crore in FY26 from ₹2,318.29 crore in FY25, while PAT grew to ₹371.08 crore from ₹298.83 crore during the same period.
Strategic Backing & Future Growth
Sembcorp Green Infra is promoted by Sembcorp Utilities Pte Ltd and Sembcorp Industries Ltd. It manages 105 projects spread across 13 states and Union Territories.
Future plans include organic growth, strategic acquisitions, and investments in energy storage and complex renewable energy projects. Several financial institutions are acting as book-running lead managers for the issue.
