Innovating India’s Medical Expenses
QubeHealth-Pay enables users to pay for medical expenses across a broad spectrum of healthcare providers, offering cash-backs, medical financing for uninsured expenses, and integration with employer health benefits. Co-Founder and Group CEO, Chris George, highlighted the urgency and emotional nature of family health payments, often falling outside traditional insurance.
George stated, “paying for family health is urgent, recurring, emotional, and rarely fully insured, making it a prime area for fintech innovation.” This perspective drives the platform’s focus on a market where a substantial portion of family healthcare spending is out-of-pocket.
Expansion Plans Ahead
With the new capital, QubeHealth-Pay plans to expand its platform within India. The company also aims to explore international markets, specifically targeting regions like the Middle East and Southeast Asia, which exhibit high out-of-pocket healthcare spending.
