Key Highlights

Aman Gupta’s OFF/BEAT raises ₹100 Cr in seed funding led by Bessemer Venture Partners. The venture aims to innovate at the intersection of content and AI.

OFF/BEAT, a new venture established by Aman Gupta, co-founder of boAt, has successfully raised Rs 100 crore in a seed funding round led by Bessemer Venture Partners. The company is poised to operate at the intersection of artificial intelligence and content creation.

Aman Gupta, Founder of OFF/BEAT, stated, “Having built from scratch before, I know what capital can do and what it cannot. This time, I was looking for partners with a global perspective who can help me leverage technology and AI, because that’s where the future lies. Bessemer’s track record with companies like Anthropic, Shopify, Canva, and LinkedIn says it all.”

Gupta emphasized that the decision to raise capital was driven by the strategic support, credibility, network, and speed that Bessemer Venture Partners brings, elements that “money alone cannot buy.”

OFF/BEAT believes that India is currently experiencing a structural shift, with a digitally native generation redefining the standards for companies in terms of communication, representation, and loyalty. The company noted that AI and technology are significantly transforming how businesses are built and scaled and that the founders who understand both the cultural shift and the enabling technology will define this era.

Anant Vidur Puri, Partner at Bessemer Venture Partners, commented, “We back founders who see around corners. Aman saw how a new India would come to think about aspiration, identity, and quality, and built boAt as proof. He is now applying that same instinct to a market being reshaped by AI and by a generation with entirely new expectations. That is exactly the intersection Bessemer exists to back.”

Aman Gupta, who successfully scaled boAt to Rs 3,000 crore in revenue and is also known for his role as a judge on Shark Tank, is expected to bring his operational expertise and understanding of the Indian market to this new venture.
