Navi Raises $100M from Prosus in First Institutional Round

Sachin Bansal’s Navi secures $100 million in its first institutional funding round from Dutch firm Prosus, bolstering its fintech offerings in India.
Sachin Bansal’s financial services firm, Navi, announced on Wednesday it has successfully raised $100 million from Dutch investment firm Prosus. This marks Navi’s inaugural institutional capital raise.
The investment is currently awaiting standard closing conditions and necessary regulatory approvals, notably from the Competition Commission of India (CCI).
Navi’s Operational Momentum
Navi operates as a digital-first financial services provider, offering a range of products directly and through partners.
Its offerings include loans, insurance, mutual funds, and UPI payments.
Navi UPI emerged as India’s fourth-largest Unified Payments Interface application in FY26, also ranking among the country’s fastest-growing payment platforms.
The company’s assets under management surpassed Rs 130 billion, demonstrating strong operational momentum across its business segments.
Navi Group achieved consolidated profitability in the fourth quarter of FY26 due to improved economics and increased operating leverage.
Strategic Partnership and Validation
Sachin Bansal, Founder and Executive Chairman of Navi Group, expressed appreciation for the partnership with Prosus.
He noted Prosus’s reputation as a respected investor with a history of supporting leading technology companies, adding that the investment validates Navi’s institutional development.
