MV Electrosystems, a railway equipment manufacturer, recorded a strong IPO debut in 2026, with its shares closing nearly 47% above the issue price on the first trading day.
This performance positioned it as the third-best mainboard IPO listing of the year, surpassed only by Bharat Coking Coal Ltd. and Indo-MIM.

Financials and Investor Caution
Despite the strong debut, Shivani Nyati, Head of Wealth at Swastika Investmart Ltd., highlighted MV Electrosystems’ weak financial performance in FY26.

Nyati recommended that allotted investors consider booking partial profits, holding remaining shares with a stop-loss at ₹470.
