SaaS startup Mojro secures $5.5 million in Series A funding, including $2.5M from Dallas Venture Capital, to fuel global expansion and enhance its AI-powered supply chain optimization platform.

Mojro, a business-to-business Software as a Service (SaaS) startup, has announced the closure of its Series A funding round, securing a total of $5.5 million. The round includes an additional $2.5 million (approximately ₹23 Cr) investment from Dallas Venture Capital (DVC).

The company plans to utilize the newly acquired capital to bolster its global expansion efforts and drive further product innovation. Mojro cofounder and CEO Kishan Aswath stated, “We will continue to invest in such expansion in the foreign markets to build more resilient supply chains.”

Previously, the Bengaluru-based startup raised $3 million in February, led by IAN Group’s IAN Fund, with contributions from 1Crowd and existing investors. Founded in 2016 by Aswath, Amit Kulkarni, and Ranganath Seetharamu, Mojro offers a B2B SaaS platform designed to help mid- to large-sized enterprises optimize complex supply chains across various sectors.

Mojro’s AI-powered platform focuses on multi-modal logistics planning and intelligent automation. It employs an extensive analytics engine and a library of over 150 business constraints to enhance efficiency within logistics networks. Key features include dynamic route planning, last-mile delivery optimization, loading automation, real-time tracking, and predictive analytics.

The startup claims its technology can reduce logistics costs for enterprise clients by up to 20% within 90 days of implementation. Mojro operates on a usage-based pricing model and generates more than 60% of its revenue from international markets, including the United States, Malaysia, Singapore, and the Philippines. The company competes with other players in the logistics planning solutions space such as Shipsy, FarEye, and LogiNext.

The increasing penetration of e-commerce and a growing business focus on supply chain efficiency are driving demand for logistics planning solutions, attracting significant investor interest in startups within this segment. India’s logistics sector is projected to reach $563 billion by 2030, growing at a compound annual growth rate of 9.4%, propelled by e-commerce expansion and the need for effective supply chain management.
