Magna Electro Castings has received crucial board approval to establish a new machining division at its South Campus in Coimbatore. This strategic move, sanctioned by the Board of Directors on August 13, 2026, signals a significant operational enhancement for the company.
This initiative marks the company’s first dedicated in-house machining division, set to commence operations with an initial seven CNC machines. The primary goal is to provide customers with fully-machined, ready-to-fit components, streamlining the supply chain.

Magna Electro Castings currently specializes in manufacturing and selling ductile, grey, and SiMo castings, ranging from 800 grams to 500 kilograms per piece. The company already supplies machined castings, making this new division a logical expansion of its existing capabilities.
