LIC MF AMC Appoints Dhaval Sangoi, Revises Fund Management

LIC Mutual Fund Asset Management (AMC) has announced key personnel appointments and revised fund management responsibilities for several schemes, with changes taking effect in August and September 2026.

These strategic adjustments impact the overall operational structure and management of specific mutual fund offerings, as detailed in recent addenda to official scheme documents.

New Appointment: Dhaval Sangoi

Dhaval Sangoi has been appointed as Assistant Fund Manager and Equity Research Analyst, designated as a Key Personnel of the AMC. This appointment becomes effective from August 17, 2026.

• Age: 37 years
• Qualifications: CFA charterholder, BMS degree from Narsee Monjee College of Commerce and Economics, Mumbai
• Experience: 12+ years in the industry
• Prior Roles:
• Equity Research Analyst at Canara HSBC Life Insurance Company (July 2024 – August 2026)
• Vice President – Equity Research at Credit Suisse Business Analytics (India) (October 2015 – July 2024)

Revised Fund Management Portfolios

Significant revisions to fund manager assignments across four LIC MF schemes will take effect from September 01, 2026. These changes aim to redistribute responsibilities and leverage diverse expertise within the management team.

• LIC MF Multi Cap Fund: Revised from Dikshit Mittal to Dikshit Mittal, Mahesh Bendre & Nikhil Kapoor
• LIC MF Small Cap Fund: Revised from Dikshit Mittal to Dikshit Mittal & Sudhanshu Asthana
• LIC MF Dividend Yield Fund: Revised from Dikshit Mittal to Dikshit Mittal & Sumit Bhatnagar
• LIC MF Healthcare Fund: Revised from Sudhanshu Asthana to Sudhanshu Asthana & Dhaval Sangoi

These modifications are formally incorporated into the Scheme Information Document (SID), Key Information Memorandum (KIM) of the affected schemes, and the Statement of Additional Information (SAI) of LIC Mutual Fund.
