Lemonn, a stockbroking platform, reports over 800% year-on-year revenue growth in May 2026, fueled by a massive surge in retail investor activity and order volumes in India.
Lemonn, the stockbroking platform under PeepalCo Group, recorded an impressive surge in key business metrics during May 2026, demonstrating a significant acceleration in retail participation across India’s equity markets.
The company’s revenue from operations soared by over 800% year-on-year, reaching Rs 8.97 crore in May 2026, up from Rs 99 lakh in the same month last year.
Key Growth Indicators for May 2026
- Retail order volumes increased 9.08 times, hitting 27.71 lakh orders compared to 3.05 lakh a year prior.
- Active retail traders on the platform grew 5.14 times, reaching 24,309 from 4,722.
Devam Sardana, Business Head at Lemonn, attributed this robust performance to the company’s customer-centric strategy and its commitment to developing products that effectively meet investor needs. This approach has positioned the platform for profitability in the near future, Sardana explained.
Geographic Distribution of Orders
- Investors from Tier 3 cities contributed 42.8% of all retail orders.
- Tier 2 cities accounted for 36.7% of the orders.
- Tier 1 cities made up the remaining 20.5%, highlighting widespread digital investing adoption.
Ashish Singhal, Co-Founder of Lemonn, noted that this growth signifies a fundamental shift in India’s investment landscape. He highlighted the encouraging maturity of digital investing and its role in lowering entry barriers for new generations of investors.
Since its inception in 2024, Lemonn has diversified its services to include mutual funds, IPO investments, and an advanced futures and options (F&O) trading suite. The company plans to enhance its product offerings and improve platform stability over the next two to three years to accommodate its rapidly expanding user base.
