Lalithaa & Shankesh Jewellers Launch ₹2,067 Cr IPOs

Lalithaa Jewellery Mart and Shankesh Jewellers are launching IPOs worth ₹2,067 crore next week. Details on Lalithaa’s ₹1,700 crore issue, price band, and expansion plans.
Two major jewellery companies, Lalithaa Jewellery Mart and Shankesh Jewellers, are slated to open their Initial Public Offerings next week. Combined, they aim to raise approximately ₹2,067 crore from the market.
Lalithaa Jewellery Mart’s Offering
Lalithaa Jewellery Mart’s IPO, valued at ₹1,700 crore, will be available for subscription from August 17 to August 19. The issue combines a fresh share issue worth ₹1,200 crore and an offer for sale (OFS) of ₹500 crore.
- Price Band: ₹190-201 per share
- Lot Size: 74 shares
- Minimum Retail Investment: ₹14,874 (at upper end)
The Chennai-based retailer, founded in 1985, plans to use a significant portion of the IPO proceeds for retail expansion. This includes opening 10 new stores and funding their initial inventory.
Financially, the company saw total income rise to ₹25,039.80 crore in FY26 from ₹16,907.88 crore in FY25. Profit after tax more than doubled to ₹1,009.82 crore.
Shankesh Jewellers’ Public Issue
Shankesh Jewellers will launch its ₹367.18-crore IPO from August 18 to August 20. This issue includes a fresh issue of 2.95 crore shares valued at ₹274.18 crore and an OFS of 1 crore shares worth ₹93 crore.

- Minimum Retail Investment: ₹14,880
The Mumbai-based firm, established in 2005, specializes in manufacturing customized handcrafted gold jewellery for B2B clients. Shankesh Jewellers intends to allocate IPO proceeds towards repaying borrowings and strengthening its working capital.
The company’s total income increased to ₹1,630.93 crore in FY26 from ₹1,403.94 crore in FY25. Profit after tax jumped to ₹106.68 crore.
Listing Outlook
Both companies anticipate listing their shares on the NSE and BSE. Lalithaa Jewellery Mart is expected to list on August 24, with Shankesh Jewellers following on August 25.
