Lalithaa Jewellery Mart and Horizon Industrial Parks secured ₹1,675.8 crore from anchor investors ahead of their IPOs, signaling strong market confidence.
Lalithaa Jewellery Mart and Blackstone-backed Horizon Industrial Parks collectively secured ₹1,675.8 crore from anchor investors ahead of their Initial Public Offerings (IPOs) opening today.
The two companies aim to raise a combined ₹4,300 crore through their IPOs, which remain open for public subscription until August 19.
Lalithaa Jewellery Mart: Key Details
Lalithaa Jewellery raised ₹508 crore from 22 anchor investors, allotting 2.53 crore equity shares at ₹201 per share. The company’s ₹1,700-crore IPO includes a fresh issue of ₹1,200 crore and an offer for sale of ₹500 crore.
- Anchor Investors: Goldman Sachs Bank Europe, ICICI Prudential Mutual Fund, Morgan Stanley India Investment Fund.
- Domestic Mutual Funds: Received 45.26% of the total anchor allocation (1.14 crore shares).
- Price Band: ₹190-201 per share.

Based in Chennai and founded in 1985, Lalithaa Jewellery focuses on gold, silver, and diamond jewellery for mass-market consumers, primarily in South India. Proceeds from the fresh issue are earmarked for expanding its store network, with ₹34.55 crore for fit-outs and ₹998.68 crore for inventory for 10 new stores.
The company reported a total income increase to ₹25,039.80 crore in FY26 from ₹16,907.88 crore in FY25. Profit after tax more than doubled to ₹1,009.82 crore, though borrowings also rose to ₹1,604.14 crore.
Horizon Industrial Parks: Anchor Book
Blackstone-backed Horizon Industrial Parks mobilized ₹1,167.8 crore from 54 anchor investors, allotting 19.46 crore equity shares at ₹60 apiece. This ₹2,600-crore IPO is entirely a fresh issue of 43.34 crore shares.
- Anchor Participants: Morgan Stanley, Carmignac, Societe Generale, SBI Life Insurance.
- Price Band: ₹57-60 per share.
- Retail Investment: Minimum of ₹15,000 for a lot of 250 shares.
- Ownership: Predominantly owned and managed by three Blackstone affiliates.
