KP Energy Revenue Surges 136%, String Metaverse Posts Profit

KP Energy reported a substantial 136.54% surge in its total revenue, reaching Rs 5165.64 million for the quarter ended June 2026. The company’s Profit After Tax (PAT) for the same period stood at Rs 259.52 million.

This marks a significant increase from the Rs 2183.85 million revenue recorded in the year-ago period. While revenue grew sharply, PAT saw a marginal improvement from Rs 254.29 million in the corresponding previous quarter to the current Rs 259.52 million.

Operational Performance Breakdown

The company’s operating profit for the June 2026 quarter rose to Rs 617.27 million, up from Rs 495.20 million in the June 2025 quarter, representing a 24.65% increase. Other income also saw a notable rise of 48.77%, climbing to Rs 15.07 million from Rs 10.13 million.

Expenditures on interest surged by 64.48% to Rs 155.94 million compared to Rs 94.81 million in the prior year. Depreciation costs increased by 66.45%, reaching Rs 91.60 million from Rs 55.03 million. Profit Before Tax (PBT) showed a 7.06% growth, moving to Rs 369.73 million from Rs 345.36 million.

String Metaverse Financials

Concurrently, String Metaverse also released its financial results for the June 2026 quarter, reporting a Profit After Tax (PAT) of Rs 1.99 million.
