Juniper Green Energy reports a 54.4% surge in Q1 FY27 net profit to Rs 33.5 crore, driven by an 81.2% revenue jump post-stock market debut.

Juniper Green Energy announced a substantial 54.4% surge in its consolidated net profit for the first quarter of fiscal year 2027, reaching Rs 33.5 crore. This impressive growth follows the company’s recent stock market debut, with revenue from operations climbing 81.2%.

The renewable energy firm’s operational efficiency also saw a marked improvement during the quarter, contributing to its robust financial performance.

Key Financial Highlights

  • Net Profit: Increased by 54.4% to Rs 33.5 crore from Rs 21.7 crore year-on-year.
  • Revenue from Operations: Surged by 81.2% to Rs 291.2 crore from Rs 160.7 crore.
  • EBITDA: Rose by 89.4% to Rs 261.5 crore.
  • EBITDA Margin: Expanded to 89.8% from 85.9% in the prior year.

The company’s board approved these strong quarterly figures on August 26, 2026, with statutory auditors conducting a limited review.

Post-Listing Performance

Juniper Green Energy’s equity shares commenced trading on both the NSE and BSE on August 6, 2026. The initial public offering was priced at Rs 225 per share.

This marks the first instance of the company preparing quarterly financial results in line with listing requirements. New projects commencing commercial generation and power sales during the period significantly expanded the operational base.

Seasonal Outlook

Despite the strong figures, Juniper Green cautioned that the renewable energy sector is inherently seasonal. Therefore, the Q1 FY27 performance should not be directly compared with the previous year’s period, nor should it be taken as a definitive indicator for the full fiscal year 2027.
