Juniper Green Energy has secured ₹539.4 crore from 16 anchor investors, including the Abu Dhabi Investment Authority, in anticipation of its ₹1,800 crore Initial Public Offering (IPO). The company allotted 2.39 crore equity shares at the upper end of its ₹214-225 per share price band.
The IPO is set to open for public subscription on July 30, aiming to raise a total of ₹1,800 crore through a fresh issue of shares. A substantial portion of these funds is earmarked for debt reduction.

Juniper Green Energy plans to use ₹1,411.9 crore from the IPO proceeds specifically for debt repayment. This move addresses the company’s significant total borrowings of ₹13,266 crore.
Reducing this debt is a strategic priority, intended to mitigate high interest costs prevalent in the capital-intensive renewable energy sector. The company’s operational capacity has expanded from 100 MW in March 2020 to 7,910.20 MW by June 2026.
