Jana Nayagan Box Office: ₹143 Cr Net in 6 Days, Global Gross ₹246 Cr

Vijay’s action drama, ‘Jana Nayagan’, recorded a net collection of ₹8 crore in India on its sixth day, Tuesday, reflecting a 24.9% decrease from its Day 5 earnings. Despite this weekday decline, the film has sustained a robust overall box office performance since its release.

Within six days, ‘Jana Nayagan’ accumulated a net collection of ₹143 crore across India. Its worldwide gross reached ₹246 crore, underscoring its significant global appeal.

Box Office Trajectory and Key Figures

The film’s total India gross collection now stands at ₹167.57 crore. Internationally, ‘Jana Nayagan’ added ₹3 crore on Day 6, boosting its overseas total to ₹78.50 crore.

The Tamil version emerged as the primary revenue generator on Day 6, contributing ₹6.15 crore from 4,873 shows. This version maintained an overall occupancy rate of 25% throughout the day.

Occupancy rates for the Tamil version demonstrated an upward trend, beginning at 19.08% in the morning and climbing to 31.15% by evening shows. In contrast, the Hindi version secured ₹1.25 crore from 4,420 shows with a 15% occupancy.

The Telugu version of the film garnered ₹0.60 crore from 1,120 shows, registering a 16% occupancy. These figures highlight the varied regional performance of the action drama.

Market Performance Across India

Tamil Nadu remained the strongest market for ‘Jana Nayagan’ on Day 6, generating a gross collection of ₹5.50 crore. Other significant contributions came from the Rest of India, which added ₹1.50 crore to the total.

Karnataka contributed ₹1 crore to the Day 6 gross, while Kerala added ₹0.70 crore. Andhra Pradesh & Telangana also played a role, with collections reaching ₹0.55 crore.

Daily Collections Overview

The film’s box office journey commenced with a strong opening day, collecting ₹42.70 crore. This was followed by ₹21.15 crore on Friday, before a weekend rebound.

Saturday saw collections rise to ₹28.90 crore, further increasing to ₹32 crore on Sunday. The film then transitioned into weekdays, earning ₹10.65 crore on Monday and ₹8 crore on Tuesday, its sixth day.
