ISB DLabs’ I-HEAL Cohort IV: 15 Healthcare Startups Innovate

Key Highlights

ISB DLabs’ I-HEAL Cohort IV features 15 startups tackling healthcare gaps in diagnostics, rehab, and more, aiming to improve patient access beyond traditional systems.

ISB DLabs, through its Healthcare Entrepreneurship Acceleration Lab (I-HEAL), has launched its fourth cohort, comprising 15 startups dedicated to addressing significant gaps in India’s healthcare sector. These ventures are developing solutions across digital health, diagnostics, neuro-rehabilitation, geriatric care, and women’s health, with the goal of extending care to patients beyond conventional healthcare infrastructure.

The I-HEAL program, powered by CitiusTech, supports startups that have a tested prototype or Minimum Viable Product (MVP). It focuses on guiding these companies through market entry, clinical validation, and capital raising. Each of the 15 selected startups undergoes a detailed gap analysis, receiving tailored mentorship from ISB faculty, clinicians, industry leaders, and investors. The program emphasizes practical application by providing access to clinical partners and hospital networks for real-world validation.

Among the startups is BabyCue, which offers a rapid diagnostic kit to combat antibiotic misuse in children. Cerbo Tech is utilizing brain-computer interface technology for student mental wellness, while Garbha.ai aims to improve IVF success rates with an AI-powered platform. GenElek Technologies is developing clinical exoskeletons for patient rehabilitation, and GUTBUDDY provides an AI-driven platform for irritable bowel syndrome management.

Further innovations include Immunyfit’s biology-first digital twin platform for autoimmune conditions, KINETIC AGE’s at-home health programs for senior citizens, and Ksham Innovation’s Able Glasses for the hearing-impaired. Manastik offers a comprehensive neurological recovery platform, and Mimansa Play makes speech therapy accessible for young children through interactive games. NeuraEase is developing a hardware-enabled SaaS platform for individuals with autism, ADHD, PTSD, and anxiety.

Other participating startups are Nirvesh Enterprises (Synapsil), creating a wearable brain health headband; Sensio, an ODM of health wearables including India’s first ECG-enabled smart ring; Ultramotiv, building a modular robotic therapy platform; and ZenovoCare Technologies, developing a wireless electrotherapy device for stroke rehabilitation.

The diversity of solutions presented by the fourth I-HEAL cohort highlights the broad spectrum of unmet needs in Indian healthcare. These startups represent a collective effort to identify and build scalable businesses around the persistent gaps in care delivery, from early diagnostics to long-term recovery and specialized therapies.
