India’s ‘IPOgust’ is set to be the busiest month with 11 mainboard IPOs aiming to raise ₹21,272 crore in early August 2026, following a strong July and recovering from a quiet H1.
India’s primary market is set for a significant surge, with 11 mainboard companies aiming to raise approximately ₹21,272 crore in the first half of August 2026. This period is anticipated to be India’s busiest month for initial public offerings.
This massive activity, dubbed ‘IPOgust,’ follows a strong July where 12 issues collectively raised ₹28,648 crore. Total IPO fundraising for January-July 2026 reached ₹51,221 crore.
The initial half of 2026 was notably quieter, with 27 companies raising ₹22,572 crore from January to June due to geopolitical uncertainties and market volatility.
Early August IPO Debuts
- Manipal Health Enterprises initiated its debut on August 5, successfully raising ₹9,275 crore.
- Juniper Green Energy entered the stock market on August 6, securing ₹1,800 crore.
- MV Electrosystems also debuted on August 6, securing ₹290 crore.
- Ardee Industries concluded its IPO on August 7, raising ₹425.87 crore, with listing slated for August 12.
These four issues alone contribute ₹11,791.09 crore to the August IPO calendar, marking an active start to the month.
Upcoming Second Week Listings
The second week of August is expected to intensify primary-market activity with seven more IPOs projected to raise around ₹10,211 crore. These span various sectors:
- Dhoot Transmission (auto components): ₹3,066.89 crore
- LEAP India (logistics infrastructure): ₹2,480 crore
- Shiprocket (logistics technology): ₹1,617.48 crore
- Milky Mist Dairy Food (dairy products): ₹1,553 crore
- Molbio Diagnostics (molecular diagnostics): ₹939.70 crore
- Behari Lal Engineering (engineering and manufacturing): ₹301.62 crore
- Technocraft Ventures (engineering and manufacturing): ₹251.88 crore
These companies are strategically entering the market to secure capital for their expansion and growth initiatives, fueling their growth trajectories.
