Five Indian companies are set to raise a combined Rs 7,443 crore through Initial Public Offerings (IPOs) next week, signaling increased activity in the primary market.

This wave of public offerings will include auto components maker Dhoot Transmission, Temasek-backed Shiprocket, and Milky Mist Dairy Food, among others.

Upcoming Public Issues

  • Dhoot Transmission plans to raise Rs 3,067 crore with a price band of Rs 829-871 per share. Its IPO opens on August 10.
  • Point-of-care diagnostics firm Molbio Diagnostics aims for Rs 904-940 crore, priced at Rs 768-807 per share. This IPO, backed by Temasek and Motilal Oswal Private Equity, also opens on August 10, following a Rs 20 crore anchor investment from the International Finance Corporation (IFC).
  • Milky Mist Dairy Food will launch a Rs 1,553 crore IPO, with shares priced between Rs 133-140 per share, starting August 11.
  • E-commerce enablement platform Shiprocket seeks Rs 1,617.5 crore, offering shares at Rs 92-97 per share. Its public issue commences on August 12.
  • Engineering castings manufacturer Behari Lal Engineering will raise Rs 302 crore, with a price band of Rs 271-285 per share, also opening on August 12.

The funds secured from these IPOs are primarily allocated for business expansion, capital expenditure, and debt repayment. Other corporate purposes are also listed for the proceeds.

These five listings will bring the total number of IPOs in India this year to 47, with more companies expected to follow in the coming weeks.
