Indian companies largely reported strong financial results for the first quarter of FY27, with Chennai Petroleum Corporation leading significant profit growth. Chennai Petroleum Corporation notably swung to a substantial profit after tax of ₹1,016.67 crore for the June 2026 quarter. This marks a significant turnaround from a loss of ₹56.62 crore reported in the same period last year, indicating strong operational recovery.

The company’s revenue for the quarter stood at ₹381.60 crore, representing a 19.57% year-on-year increase. Operating profit also saw a marginal rise, reaching ₹63.93 crore.

Bondada Engineering’s Solar Project Milestone

In the green energy sector, Bondada Engineering achieved a significant milestone by receiving approval from the Central Electricity Authority (CEA) for its 300 MW solar power project in Gujarat. This crucial development underscores the company’s capabilities in executing large-scale renewable energy infrastructure initiatives.
