The National Skill Development Corporation (NSDC) and Cultus Education, in collaboration with Amazon Web Services (AWS), are spearheading this effort. An intensive segment of the program will provide job-ready training to 10,000 participants, ensuring deeper skill acquisition.
Bridging the Skill Gap in India
Supported by the Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship (MSDE), the initiative specifically targets young individuals in India’s Tier 2 and Tier 3 cities. It will be delivered entirely online through Cultus Education, making it accessible across diverse regions.
This program directly addresses critical challenges faced by youth outside major metros, including limited access to advanced technical training and crucial connections with potential employers. It’s about leveling the playing field for aspiring tech professionals.
What the Program Offers
The intensive AWS re/Start training is designed to build comprehensive expertise. It covers several key areas of modern technology.
Participants will learn about cloud infrastructure, networking, and security fundamentals. Programming and databases are also core components of the curriculum.
Crucially, the training includes artificial intelligence fundamentals. Upon completion, participants will receive an AWS certification, significantly boosting their career prospects.
The program also offers interview opportunities with potential employers, a vital step from training to employment. A national hackathon is integrated into the initiative, providing practical application experience.
