HyugaLife secures Rs 100 crore Series A funding led by IvyCap Ventures to boost AI tech, expand dark stores, and launch offline retail for proteins & supplements.
HyugaLife, a marketplace focused on proteins and supplements, has successfully raised Rs 100 crore in a Series A funding round. The round was led by IvyCap Ventures, with participation from First Bridge Fund. This funding will be instrumental in bolstering the startup’s AI-led personalization technology, expanding its network of dark stores, and establishing a physical retail presence.
Founded in 2022 by Sachin Parikh, Anvi Shah, and Neehar Modi, the Mumbai-headquartered startup offers a wide array of products, including proteins, supplements, health foods, and wellness items. Its platform currently features over 450 brands and more than 10,000 products.
HyugaLife aims to address the trust deficit in India’s protein and supplements market. According to its founder and CEO, Sachin Parikh, the company is committed to an authenticity guarantee by expanding its range of lab-tested offerings. The investment will also support the development of AI-driven, personalized technology tailored to consumers’ specific life and fitness stages, alongside faster accessibility through dark stores and offline channels.
The startup emphasizes its ‘H-Tested’ authenticity infrastructure, which involves sourcing directly from brands, excluding third-party sellers, and publishing independent lab reports on nutrition and heavy metals for a significant portion of its catalog. HyugaLife is further enhancing its offering with AI-led personalization to tailor product discovery to individual consumer needs and goals, complemented by content designed to empower informed consumer choices.
Vikram Gupta, Founder & Managing Partner at IvyCap Ventures, expressed confidence in HyugaLife’s strategy, stating, “Their focus on verified sourcing, transparent information, and AI-driven personalisation creates a compelling, differentiated platform. We believe they are well-positioned to scale as a trusted omnichannel health platform in India.”
Vishal Kumar Gupta, Co-Founder and Managing Partner at First Bridge Fund, highlighted the startup’s unique achievement: “HyugaLife has built something genuinely hard to replicate: consumer trust at scale, in a category where scepticism is the default. The authenticity infrastructure they have put in place is a real differentiator, and the consumer response speaks for itself.”
