HUDCO Pledges ₹1 Lakh Crore for Gujarat Infra
Housing & Urban Development Corporation (HUDCO) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Government of Gujarat. This agreement commits HUDCO to provide substantial financial assistance for infrastructure projects across the state.
- HUDCO aims to provide up to ₹1,00,000 crore in financial assistance.
- This funding is designated for identified infrastructure projects over the next two years.
- The initiative is designed to bolster Gujarat’s overall economic development.
HUDCO primarily supports social housing and residential real estate. It lends to State Governments and their agencies, which then channel the funds to ultimate beneficiaries.
Lemon Tree Hotels Expands in Rajasthan
In a separate development, Lemon Tree Hotels has inaugurated the Lemon Tree Hotel, Sri Ganganagar, Rajasthan. This opening signifies the brand’s expansion into a new key market.
- This marks Lemon Tree’s entry into Sri Ganganagar.
- The new hotel adds to its existing network of 23 hotels across Rajasthan.
- Managed by Carnation Hotels, a wholly owned subsidiary of Lemon Tree Hotels, the property features 68 well-appointed rooms and suites.
- Amenities include a restaurant, bar, banquet hall, meeting rooms, a spa, a swimming pool, and a fitness centre.
