Business Operations and Model
The company handles manufacturing, marketing, and distribution of Ayurvedic and Nutraceutical formulations in India alongside third-party contract manufacturing. Its portfolio includes classical Shastric Ayurvedic formulations based on texts like Charaka Samhita, Sushruta Samhita, Ashtanga Hridaya, and Bhaishajya Ratnavali. It also produces proprietary Ayurvedic formulations and nutraceutical products across multiple dosage forms including soft gelatin capsules, hard gelatin capsules, tablets, liquid orals, and medicated oils.
A hybrid business model balances its own formulations with third-party manufacturing operations. The own-brand segment covers classical Ayurvedic formulations, proprietary Ayurvedic formulations, and nutraceutical supplements. Operations span a pan-India presence supported by a stockiest-driven distribution network and an on-ground sales team comprising approximately 56 personnel, including regional managers and medical representatives. Marketing follows a doctor-centric, offline model focused on scientific detailing, continuing medical education programs, medical camps, and relationship-based engagement rather than mass-media advertising.
Use of Proceeds
Net proceeds generated from the public offering will be deployed across specific corporate objectives. The capital allocation plan includes the following key areas:
- Funding working capital requirements
- Investing in branding, digital marketing, and sales expansion
- General corporate purposes
