HCLTech eSIM Transfer & NHAI Contract for Highway Infra

HCL Technologies (HCLTech) has partnered with TIM Brasil, Brazil’s leading 5G provider, to introduce South America’s inaugural cross-platform eSIM transfer capability. This development aims to significantly enhance the mobile telephony experience for millions of users across Brazil.

Separately, Highway Infrastructure has been awarded a Letter of Acceptance (LoA) valued at Rs 28.68 crore from the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI).

HCLTech’s Digital Mobility Push

The collaboration between HCLTech and TIM Brasil is set to offer greater flexibility for users switching devices. It also aims to accelerate the adoption of next-generation mobile services throughout the region.

The innovation leverages HCLTech’s Device Entitlement Gateway (DEG). This technology will enable TIM Brasil customers to securely and seamlessly transfer their eSIM profiles across various devices and different operating systems.

Highway Infrastructure Secures Key NHAI Contract

Highway Infrastructure’s new LoA from NHAI details a significant operational and maintenance role. The contract focuses on specific infrastructure in Tamil Nadu.

• The contract is for the operations and collection of user fees at the Kozhinjipatti Toll Plaza.
• This plaza serves a section of NH-44 in Tamil Nadu.
• The order also mandates the upkeep and maintenance of adjacent toilet blocks.
• Execution of the order is slated to occur within 90 days.
