HCLTech Invests ₹14,257 Cr in Odisha AI Hub; Adani & GACL Grow

HCL Technologies is set to make a substantial strategic investment, planning a capital outlay of Rs 14,257 crore for its first AI Data Center within the upcoming Odisha Sovereign AI Park.

This initiative, a collaboration with Sarvam and the Government of Odisha, aims to significantly enhance India’s sovereign AI capabilities and bolster the local developer ecosystem. The project will leverage HCLTech’s extensive full-stack AI expertise alongside Sarvam’s foundational AI contributions.

Adani Energy Expands Infrastructure in Andhra Pradesh

In parallel, Adani Energy Solutions (AESL) has secured an inter-state transmission project in Andhra Pradesh, valued at approximately Rs 8,500 crore. AESL emerged as the most competitive bidder under the Government of India’s Tariff-Based Competitive Bidding (TBCB) framework.

This vital project focuses on facilitating power integration and ensuring supply to proposed Green Hydrogen and Green Ammonia projects located in the Vizag area, underscoring a push for sustainable energy infrastructure.

Gujarat Alkalies Posts Multi-Fold Q1 Profit Surge

Corporate earnings also saw positive movement, with Gujarat Alkalies and Chemicals reporting a multi-fold increase in its consolidated net profit for the first quarter ended June 30, 2026. The company posted a net profit of Rs 54.98 crore, a notable turnaround from a net loss of Rs 13.78 crore in the corresponding quarter of the previous year.

Furthermore, Gujarat Alkalies’ total consolidated income for Q1FY27 rose by 12.48% to reach Rs 1,252.56 crore. These figures highlight a strong financial recovery and growth trajectory for the chemical manufacturer.
