Granules India has announced an organic capital expenditure plan of Rs 2,000 crore to be deployed over the next three to four years. The company is shifting its focus toward high-value, complex formulations away from traditional bulk generics like ibuprofen and paracetamol. Formulations currently account for approximately 75% of the company’s revenue.
Financial Position and Key Targets
The firm achieved a net cash surplus position following a Rs 1,093 crore promoter warrant conversion in mid-September 2026. A core part of the expansion involves its peptide Contract Development and Manufacturing Organization division, Ascelis Peptides.
