GK Energy Profit Soars 61.55% in June 2026 Quarter

GK Energy reports a remarkable 61.55% profit increase to Rs. 596.73 million in the June 2026 quarter, driven by a 71.10% rise in turnover.
GK Energy has announced a significant financial uplift for the quarter ended June 2026, with profit after tax soaring by 61.55% to Rs. 596.73 million.
This robust performance follows a strong increase in turnover, which rose by 71.10% to Rs. 5051.92 million, compared to Rs. 2952.68 million in the corresponding quarter of the previous year.
Financial Performance Overview
Operating profit for the June 2026 quarter surged to Rs. 861.14 million, marking a 47.72% increase from Rs. 582.97 million reported in the prior year’s similar period.
Other income also saw considerable growth, jumping by 104.39% to reach Rs. 34.44 million, up from Rs. 16.85 million previously.
Conversely, interest expenses declined by 41.59%, settling at Rs. 45.60 million compared to Rs. 78.07 million in the June 2025 quarter.
Depreciation costs, however, increased by 137.78% to Rs. 12.65 million, against Rs. 5.32 million in the comparative period.
Profit Before Tax (PBT) for GK Energy climbed by 60.71%, registering Rs. 802.89 million from Rs. 499.58 million recorded in the quarter ended June 2025.
The company’s latest quarterly results demonstrate a strong growth trajectory across key financial metrics, underscoring a period of expansion and improved profitability for GK Energy.
