Gemini Edibles & Fats India Ltd and MP Steel India have officially filed their Draft Red Herring Prospectuses (DRHPs) with the Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI). Both companies aim to list their shares on the National Stock Exchange (NSE) and the BSE.
Gemini Edibles & Fats: An OFS Only
Edible oil manufacturer Gemini Edibles & Fats India’s IPO is entirely an offer-for-sale (OFS) of up to 4.11 crore shares by promoters and investors. The company will not receive any proceeds from this offering.
- Selling shareholders include Golden Agri International Enterprises Pte Ltd, Alka Chowdhry, Investment and Commercial Enterprise Pte Ltd, and Black River Food 2 Pte Ltd.
- Golden Agri International Enterprises Pte Ltd is an affiliate of Golden Agri-Resources (GAR).
- Gemini Edibles specializes in edible oils and specialty fats, planning expansion into spices and convenience foods under brands like Be-Rite, Freedom, and First Klass.
MP Steel India: Fresh Issue and OFS
Stainless-steel producer MP Steel India’s initial share sale combines a fresh issue of shares worth ₹95 crore and an OFS of 2,307,290 shares by its promoters. The fresh issue proceeds are earmarked for specific capital expenditures.
- Promoters selling shares: Kushalkumar V Bhansali, Vansraj Rikhabchand Bhansali, Madhu Kushalkumar Bhansali, Mainasundari Santosh Bhansali, and Samveg Bhansali.
- Fresh issue funds will cover a new manufacturing unit, incremental working capital needs, and general corporate purposes.
- MP Steel manufactures black and bright stainless-steel products in various grades (17.4PH, 304, 316, 200, 300, 400 series).
