Before joining Excelsoft Technologies, Paruvangada served as Vice President–Finance & Accounts at India Cements from March 2024, where he played a role in integrating its cement business into UltraTech. A substantial portion of his career, nearly 28 years, was spent at United Breweries.

At United Breweries, he ascended through various finance leadership roles, ultimately becoming CFO/head of finance. In this capacity, he managed extensive finance operations and engaged with key stakeholders.
