Eternal Q4 FY26: Blinkit Fuels Record Growth, Profitability Focus

Key Highlights
Eternal reports stellar Q4 FY26 results, with Blinkit driving significant revenue and profit growth. Explore the financial highlights and future outlook.
Eternal has announced its financial results for the fourth quarter of fiscal year 2026, revealing a substantial increase in both profits and revenues. The company’s performance was largely driven by its quick commerce arm, Blinkit, which continued its rapid expansion.
In Q4 FY26, Eternal reported a consolidated net profit that zoomed 4.5 times year-on-year to ₹174 crore. Operating revenue skyrocketed by 196% year-on-year to ₹17,292 crore. However, total expenses also saw a significant rise, increasing by 185% year-on-year to ₹17,406 crore, while adjusted improved by 160% year-on-year to ₹429 crore.
Despite the overall positive financial figures, the company’s profitability remains a point of attention. A closer examination of the numbers indicates that without ₹342 crore in other income, Eternal would have registered a loss. The rapid escalation of expenses, nearly matching revenue growth, highlights the ongoing challenge of balancing expansion with profitability.
Blinkit stood out as the primary contributor to Eternal’s Q4 performance. The quick commerce platform saw its revenues soar by 674% year-on-year, reaching ₹13,232 crore. This growth was fueled by the addition of 216 new dark stores during the quarter and a 95% year-on-year increase in net order value (NOV).
The food delivery business, Zomato, also demonstrated stable momentum. Zomato’s revenue and adjusted EBITDA saw improvements, supported by a strategic focus on more affordable meal options and consistent unit economics. The company addressed the LPG shortage, characterizing it as a temporary disruption with no impact on platform-level throughput.
The going-out business segment, referred to as District, experienced a more uneven performance, with revenue rising modestly year-on-year due to fluctuating ticketing demand. Nevertheless, Eternal expressed confidence in its long-term guidance of achieving $150 million in adjusted EBITDA by FY30 for District. To enhance efficiency and explore new opportunities, the company plans to transfer the tech stack and employees of District to a wholly-owned subsidiary.
In other business news, Snabbit, a quick home services startup, has secured $56 million in its Series D funding round. The funds will be used to introduce new service categories and expand its presence to 250-300 micromarkets within the next 12-18 months. Founded in 2024, Snabbit offers domestic help for household chores through its app, promising service within 10-15 minutes. The platform claims to have processed approximately 40,000 servicing jobs daily in FY26 and is reporting an annualized revenue run rate of $35-40 million, while reducing its burn per order by 50% in the last six months.
