Mr. Navin, a 1993-batch Indian Revenue Service officer from the Income Tax cadre, assumed the role of full-time chief of the federal anti-money laundering agency on August 14, 2024. His extended term signifies continuity in the agency’s ongoing efforts against financial irregularities.
