Foreign institutional investors stood as net sellers in both equity and debt segments based on data released by the National Securities Depository Limited for September 30.

In the equity segment, gross buying reached Rs 24,136.43 crore against gross selling of Rs 34,334.68 crore, resulting in net sales of Rs 10,198.25 crore.
