PLI 2.0 Scheme Underpins Contract

The underlying manufacturing contract between Padget Electronics and Lenovo was initially secured in December 2023. This agreement is a key component of the government’s Production Linked Incentive (PLI) 2.0 Scheme, aimed at boosting domestic IT hardware production.

Dixon Technologies has clarified that this corporate guarantee will not have an immediate operational impact on the company. However, the commitment will be duly reflected as a contingent liability within Dixon’s financial records, acknowledging the potential future obligation.
